Tracking number not updating in sales channel

I am calling POST “/shipment/shipment_id/tracking/” for adding tracking number in the shipments and that works !

The problem I am facing is its not updating the sales channel. For eg : Order #XYZ is pulled in from ebay, so the tracking number should also be updated in ebay as well which is not happening.

Please let me know how can get it posted in sales channels.
