Yesterday our integration to your API broke. It was diagnosed to be a new element in the https://devapiverson.docs.apiary.io/#reference/order/order/get. There was a new element introduced to the order line object, which was an “id” field of type integer.
Will there be more unannounced breaking changes introduced and where can we typically find announcements for these unannounced breaking changes.
We barely recovered from this in time to get our orders shipped for the day.
Please take note of the disclaimer on our API docs. The v3 Orders API is for internal use with the Ordoro v3 UI. External use is open but not fully supported. All endpoints documented herein are subject to change without notice. Use at your own risk.
It is not safe to assume that new elements will not be added to the response shape without notice. We do, however, typically announce when an element will be removed.
Then why was I told by Joel Myers that I needed to upgrade to the Pro plan in order to have API access?
Essentially what you have said is that I am paying an extra $440/month to have access to something that is only for internal use?

Hey Tim,
I can see who is available from our development team to see if they have an answer for this. Keep in mind that if you are trying to use our API, it is only available to use within on Pro plans.
Right now, you are on our Basic plan and would need to be upgraded to be able to have full development support and API access.
